HOW ROBOROCK REPORTS A FAULT

Roborock robots report numbered errors, spoken aloud and shown in the app: "Error 5: Main brush jammed. Clean main brush and bearings." The numbers run from 1 (LiDAR turret) to 28, plus 42 for the maintenance brush inside the Ultra docks, and they are identical from the S5 to the S8 and the Q series, so one page covers every model and lists the affected ones at the top. Roborock's support site keeps one short article per code, and the user manuals carry the full table.

Two things trip people up. Charging faults split into Error 13 (charging error) and Error 14 (battery error), while a robot that simply will not charge with no message is a symptom page here. And the docks have their own language: on Q Revo-class stations a steady red LED means a voltage or tank problem on the station side.

Symptoms without a number, not charging, not returning to the dock, a mop that stays dry, an app that refuses to connect, sit in the second section. The most-searched list below is ordered by what Roborock owners actually look up rather than by code number.
