HOW TO FIX IT
Lift the robot clear
Pick it up off the threshold or obstacle it is stranded on and set it down on open, level floor; the manual's fix is to move it and restart.
Press and spin each wheel
Press each main wheel in and let it spring back, then spin it by hand. Roborock's own check for the sibling codes 7 and 8 is exactly this: press and spin, and free anything stuck.
Pull fibre out of the wheel wells
Cut and pull out lint, string or hair wound around the axle of each main wheel and the front caster.
Take the water tank off if it was on a threshold
For a robot that also reports itself trapped, Roborock says to remove the water tank and try again; a full tank adds weight on a ridge.
Restart on flat floor and fence the spot
Start the clean again from level ground. If the same doorway or chair triggers it every run, draw a no-go zone or virtual wall over it in the app.
