Roborock Error 10 — Filter wet or blocked
DIRECT ANSWER
COMMON CAUSES · RANKED
Filter reinstalled too soon after washing MOST COMMON
The foam core holds water long after the surface feels dry. Roborock's drying figure is 24 hours, not two.
Filter packed with fine dust
A clogged filter chokes airflow enough to read like a wet one.
Filter past its service life UNCOMMON
Filters are consumables. After 6-12 months of cleaning cycles the pleats stay clogged no matter how often you rinse.
HOW TO FIX IT
Take the filter out
Open the dustbin and remove the filter from its frame.
Rinse and tap it clean
Rinse with clean water only — no soap, no brushes — and tap it against the sink to knock dust out.
Dry for 24 hours
Air-dry the filter for a full day. Keep a second filter to rotate so the robot never waits.
Replace if the error returns
A dry, clean filter that still triggers Error 10 has reached the end of its life.
