Severity: Warning — robot is safe, cleaning paused until the front bumper springs back freely IQEZAIAI UltraMatrixPowerDetect

DIRECT ANSWER

Error 6 means the front bumper may be jammed. Clean around the bumper — top, sides and underneath — and press it in: it should spring back instantly. On LiDAR models, check the navigation module too.

COMMON CAUSES · RANKED

1

Debris wedged in the bumper gap MOST COMMON

Grit, mulch or a toy piece slips into the slot behind the bumper and holds it compressed.

2

Blocked LiDAR bumper on newer models

Shark's guide also points at the top navigation module — the small bumper around the LiDAR turret can jam separately.

3

Bumper switch stuck after an impact RARE

A hard hit can leave the internal switch pressed. If cleaning never frees it, the bumper needs service.

HOW TO FIX IT

No battery or electrical work involved in this fix.

Power off the robot

Take it off the base and hold POWER for 3 seconds.

Clean around the bumper

Remove debris from the top and sides of the front bumper, then flip the robot and clear the underside as well.

Test the spring action

Press the bumper in toward the robot body and release — it should spring back out instantly on both sides.

Power on and retest

Dock the robot to power it on and press VACUUM. If Error 6 keeps returning, contact Shark support with your model and the code.
