DIRECT ANSWER

Error 2 means the main brushes can't turn. Hair or string is wrapped around them, or a thick rug is stalling them. Pull the brushes out, strip the hair, refit them and press CLEAN.

COMMON CAUSES · RANKED

1

Hair wrapped around the brushes MOST COMMON

Hair builds up on the rollers and inside the yellow end caps until the motor can't move them.

2

Debris jammed in the brush cage

A sock, cable tie or toy part wedged in the cleaning head blocks both rollers at once.

3

High-pile rug stalling the rollers

Very thick carpet can slow the brushes enough to trip the error even when they are clean.

HOW TO FIX IT

No battery or electrical work involved in this fix.

Remove the brushes

Flip the robot, press the green tab on the brush frame, and lift both rollers out.

Strip hair from rollers and end caps

Pull the end caps off and clean the hair packed underneath — that hidden wrap is what usually stalls the motor.

Clear the brush cage

Check the cavity and gears for wedged debris before refitting the rollers.

Refit and test

Reinstall the brushes, close the frame, and press CLEAN. If the error returns with clean rollers, replace the brushes.
